Regulatory Safety Antenna for Mushing and Bikejoring Practice
The bikejoring antenna is made of polypropylene, offering great flexibility and durability.
This accessory is mandatory for competitions in accordance with national and international regulations.
Basic Safety Component
The mushing antenna helps prevent the line from getting tangled in the front wheel, especially when the dogs brake or suddenly reduce speed. This component is crucial for safety in mushing and bikejoring practices, as it guides the line of pull to clear the front wheel.
Mounting Position
You should never tie the line directly to the mushing antenna. The line should be attached directly to the frame of the scooter or bicycle, and for added convenience and safety, it is recommended to use the safety anchor designed by Gravity Scooters (see photo of the mushing kit assembly).
Compatibility with Different Frame Sizes
The antenna mounts directly to frames with diameters from 36 mm to 65 mm. For frames with diameters larger than 65 mm, spacer washers of 25 mm handlebar risers should be used, and the antenna’s tightening strap should be placed around these washers.
